Hello everyone🎵

I'm Kimoto, president of Kimoto Glass. Kimoto Glass was founded in 1931 by my grandfather, Tsuyoshi Kimoto, and incorporated in 1959 by my father, Kiyoshi.

As a wholesaler dealing exclusively in glass tableware, we have teamed up with domestic and international glass factories and Edo Kiriko artisans to produce new perspectives on the world of glass.

In doing so, I have traveled to learn about the history of glass in Japan and around the world, manufacturing sites in various countries, and decorative processing methods such as Edo Kiriko, and have applied this knowledge to our business.

I would be delighted to share various information and stories about glass tableware from Kimoto Glass through my own eyes, Seiichi Kimoto.

Writing is almost as embarrassing for me as making a fool of myself, so I expect my writing to be poor and disorganized. I will write whatever comes to mind, so the topics and content may jump around, and the context may be disjointed. Please forgive me for this, as it is due to my personality and my amateur status.

I plan to upload content here about once a week, and by writing this, I'm setting a high bar and putting pressure on myself (lol).

I hope you enjoy reading it. Please look forward to next week.
