FAQ

Q. Is it a defective product that has individual differences or bubbles depending on the glass?

We are particular about handicrafts by craftsmen, and we make each one with great care.

Although we have strict inspection standards, due to the characteristics and manufacturing method of handmade glass, there may be slight variations in shape and weight, small irregularities, bubbles, unevenness in the thickness and color of the fabric, etc. ..

Please note that these are classified as non-defective products and are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

If you have any concerns or questions about the product, please feel free to contact us.

Q. The glass is white and cloudy, but is it defective?

Q. It smells sour from the glass

Q. There is an oily "slim" in the glass.

Glass made of soda glass may not be used for a long period of time, or the glass may become cloudy, slimy, or smell sour depending on the environment (temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, etc.). This is because the component of "soda ash", which is a component of soda glass, emerges on the surface of the glass , and it is not a defective product. If you wash it with a neutral detergent before use, you can use it without any problem. If it is cloudy or slimy and difficult to remove even after washing with detergent, add vinegar to make it easier to remove.

Q. Can I use it as soon as it arrives?

Since it is not a sealed exterior, wash the glass tableware with a neutral detergent when you start using it .

Q. What are the tips and precautions for washing and cleaning?

When washing the glasses, please wash them gently with a neutral detergent, apart from other dishes. Do not use a sponge containing abrasives, a cleanser, a metal scrubbing brush, etc., as it may scratch the glass and cause damage . (There is also a cleanser that can be used for glass tableware. Please check the quality label before using.)

Please be careful when washing the inside of the glass. If you twist and wash it with force from the inside, it may be damaged and you may be injured unexpectedly . We recommend using a sponge with a handle.

Please note that even rings and nail parts may scratch the glass.

After cleaning, dry well before storing. Moisture remaining in the glass can cause scale and cloudiness.

Q. Can it be used in a dishwasher?

Please refrain from using the dishwasher as it may collide with other dishes or cutlery in the refrigerator, or the glass may be damaged by high temperature water or high water pressure depending on the model .

Q. Is it okay to add hot drinks?

Please do not put hot drinks as it is not heat-resistant glass (except for some products). In addition, the glass may break due to sudden temperature changes (especially quenching) .

Q. Can I put it in the microwave and use it?

Never use it in the microwave . The glass may break and you may be injured unexpectedly.

Q. Is it okay to use it for a cutlery stand?

Do not put knives, forks, spoons, etc. in the glass or use the glass for storing cutlery. It may damage the glass and cause unexpected damage. If the glass is scratched, it will be easily damaged, so handle it so that it does not collide with each other or with a hard object.

Q. Is it okay to stack and store them?

Stacking glasses can cause them to break or become stuck. Do not stack anything other than for stacking only. If it is unavoidable to stack them, put soft paper or cushioning material between the glasses to prevent the glasses from getting stuck together.
