OPTICA set

Designed by the French designer team SCMP DESIGN OFFICE out of respect for sake.

We wanted to create a glass that allows you to hold both hands on it and enjoy sake in a beautiful manner similar to the tea ceremony.
With this idea in mind, the bottom of the glass is weighted to create a balance that makes you want to support it with both hands. The glass's mouth is wide open to allow the sake to flow into the mouth without the need for an exaggerated tilt of the chin, creating a silhouette that allows for a natural and beautiful drinking gesture.
All of this is made with the highest quality techniques by glass craftsmen in Tokyo.

OPTICA" means "optics" and is derived from the optical lens of a camera, which was the inspiration for the design.
It also expresses our hope that the reflection of light created by the transparent glass and sake will allow people to experience the delicate beauty of glass and the sparkle of sake.

A word from the manager

Large can be used as a sake bottle or as a stand-alone glass.

It can also be used as a sake cup or as a stand-alone glass.

OPTICA small x 2: diameter 58 x height 75 (mm) / capacity 80ml
